The Ministry of Governance, Public Service Reform, Citizen Empowerment, Social Justice and Ecclesiastical Affairs continues to work to improve service delivery to the public.
In efforts to do so, the Ministry conducted an online customer satisfaction survey, on sight spot checks, physical assessments of government departments and consultations with officers involved in service delivery.
“Results of the online survey highlighted the need for digital access to services and virtual payment systems as one of the priority solutions for improvement in our delivery of services to the public,” stated Minister for Governance, Public Service Reform, Citizen Empowerment, Social Justice and Ecclesiastical Affairs, Honourable Gretta Roberts.
This E-Payment portal facilitated by the National Bank of Dominica is a critical part of the Government’s vision for E-Government and a transformative public sector.
Some of the fees that are currently available for payments online include covid-19 testing and quarantine fees, land transfer fees, CARICOM skill certificate fees, work permits, passports among others.
Additional fees are expected to be added incrementally over the next few weeks.
The e-payment portal can be accessed at epayment.dominica.gov.dm.
