The objectives and mission of JCI (Junior Chamber International) Dominica is to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skill, social responsibility, fellowship and entrepreneurship necessary to create positive change.

In light of this JCI Dominica has partnered with L'Express Des îles to award a full tuition scholarship to one (1) deserving student to pursue any business related subject at the Dominica State College. This opportunity is open to all 5^th forms students within Dominica who are sitting the 2019 CSEC examinations.

Steps for scholarship application are as follows:

The successful applicant, which will be determined based on a combination of need, merit and response within their statement of purpose, will be awarded the JCI Dominica / L'Express Des îles Excellence award at their graduation, along with the two-year tuition scholarship at the Dominica State College.

The following owners of properties from Bois Diable to Castle Bruce, which represents Lot 2 of the Eastern Island Roadworks Component of the Disaster Vulnerability Reduction Project (DVRP), are invited to consultations with the Property Valuation Unit of the Ministry of Housing and Lands, on the given dates and times, for the purpose of negotiation for land acquisition for the project. Small portions of these properties will need to be acquired to facilitate rehabilitation works on the road.
