PUBLIC SERVICE ANNOUNCEMENT: re Fees

The Ministry of National Security Immigration and Labour would like to inform the general public that as of September 1, 2012 fees for the application and processing of various categories of services by the Labour and Immigration are as follows:

CATEGORY OF SERVICE	CURRENT FEE
Application for *Citizenship*	- *$250.00* and *($150.00) for citizens by decent born outside of Dominica before or after 1978) - $2,000.00* for issuance of certificate of registration after approval is granted) does not include Dominican citizens by decent
Application for *Work Permit* and *Temporary Resident Permits*	CARICOM Citizens - *$250.00* Rest of the world - *$800.00*
Permanent Residence Permits	CARICOM Citizens - *$400.00* Rest of the world - *$800.00*
Student visas	*$250.00*
Domestic or visitor’s visa	*$200.00*
Caribbean Community Skills Certificate	*$100.00*
Application for new Passports - Child (15 & below) - Adults (16 & above) - Lost or damaged passport - Extension of Stay	*$75.00* *$150.00* *$400.00* (varies depending on period of stay)
Declaration for renunciation of Citizenship	*$100.00*

(All quotations are in Eastern Caribbean currency)

The fees are payable to the Government Treasury. Receipt of payment of fees must be presented to the relevant Government Departments upon application for the aforementioned services. Fees are non-refundable, irrespective of the outcome of applications.

The Ministry of National Security Immigration and Labour wishes to reiterate that there are no other fees required for the various services outlined in the schedule. Any information provided to the contrary is inaccurate and misleading. The Ministry will not be responsible for any other amount paid in this regard and urges the general public to be guided accordingly.
