7.         Contract description:

Construction of works to improve 1,6 km of Dominica’s road network along the road from Bois Diable (in the interior) to River Blanche (on the south-eastern coastline):

1. Improve slope stabilisation and reduction in risks of landslips and rock falls, through  earthworks excavation of embankment and construction of earth-retaining structures;
2. Improve drainage to road network, by reconstruction and/or replacement of river/ravine crossing structures for safe transportation and reduction potential of flood damage to property, the environment and agricultural crops along the road from Bois Dable to River

Blanche.

Lot 1:  Bois Diable to La Ronde road improvement:  slope stabilisation, earth-retaining structures and associated road realignment and pavement.

Lot 2:  La Ronde to White River road improvement:  reconstruction river/ravine crossing structures and associated road realignment and pavement.
