6. Description of the contract

The works contracts will be divided into a maximum of three lots. Contractors may submit bids for a single lot or more than one lot, but each lot will be evaluated as a single contract. The construction works will include repairs to sections of the existing road pavement, complete rehabilitation of certain sections, partial reconstruction of the pavement, repairs to sections of drains, construction of new concrete drains and earthen drains, clearing of and repairs to existing culverts and other ancillary works such as slope stabilisation works where necessary.

Three (3) lots:

Lot 1 – Package 1

Lot 2 – Package 2

Lot 3 – Package 3

8. Scheduled publication date of the contract notice

17th December 2015.

9. Other information

The scope of work is expected to increase due to the effects of Tropical Storm Erika.
