PROJECT: Building Capacity in Consumer Protection

Funded by the Caribbean Development Bank (CBD)

Interested persons are invited to submit Expressions of Interest to serve as

COMMUNICATIONS CONSULTANT

to the project, Building Capacity in Consumer Protection

funded by the Caribbean Development Bank (CBD)

The objective of this assignment is to develop and implement an information campaign to make Dominican citizens aware of their specific consumer rights. The aim is to:

1. improve general awareness of consumer rights and knowledge of some specific;

1. consumer rights to be derived from new legislation;

1. stimulate consumers to seek information and advice from the Consumer Affairs Unit; and

1. give higher visibility to the Consumer Affairs Unit within the context of its role.
