Hon Parliamentary Representative for the Paix-Bouche constituency, Roslyn Paul, has revealed that $550,000 has been made available by the Government of Dominica for the construction of 50 washrooms in Calibishie.
She made the announcement at a closing ceremony for a four-day small business training workshop for small business owners in her constituency last Thursday.
“Hopefully by the end of 2017, we will have done the 119 washrooms in Calibishie to be done, the 19 or so in Paix-Bouche…” she informed.
Hon Paul stated that the project will be implemented by the village council and will engage persons of the surrounding communities.
Chairman of the Calibishie Village Council, John Peter expressed his thanks to the Government for embarking on this project.
