Following the passage of Tropical Storm Erika, the Minister for Tourism and Urban Renewal with Discover Dominica Authority undertook an assessment of the access options into Dominica.
The following is the status of travel as of 11am August 30, 2015.
Currently the ferry terminal and the Canefield Airport are open and facilitating passenger transportation.
The Douglas Charles Airport remains closed until further notice.
Airline Operations and Plans
Winair
Winair has implemented 1X daily service from SXM/DCF (Canefield) effective Aug 31 for 10 days operating a twin otter payload restricted to 14 out of 19 seats.
Winair estimates 75-105 passengers in their system. This is subject to confirmation and correction.

Liat
Liat will re-route flights to Domincia to Pointe-a-Pitre to facilitate onward travel to Dominica via the ferry.
Liat has also posted that with immediate effect any passengers holding a LIAT ticket to/from DOM may be accepted to/from PTP, SLU, or FDF. No fees or charges are to be paid and the passenger may be booked at any available booking level until further notice.
LIAT will be operating an additional 29 services into Guadeloupe over the next week to facilitate movement into and out of Dominica. Effective August 29 through to September 5, changes have been made to LIAT’s schedule. Please check www.liat.com .
Seaborne Airlines
Seaborne’s tropical storm policy allows for rebooking into any of their destinations.

L’express des iles
