A $4m investment in constituency empowerment is benefiting Dominicans throughout the country.
Over the past year, 88 projects have been implemented in communities across the island, most of them prioritized by the parliamentary representatives for the various constituencies.
The Hon. Minister for Constituency Empowerment is pleased with the proper use of the funds.
“…We speak of road rehabilitation, housing, washroom construction, agriculture assistance, fisher folk assistance, sports facility development…” she listed.
A most recent project funded through the Ministry of Constituency Empowerment was a plumbing training programme for young people in Grand Bay at a cost of $30,000.
