Hon. Prime Minister and Minister for Finance, Roosevelt Skerrit will seek approval for Supplementary Estimates of Expenditure for the first half of 2014/2015 amounting to over $14.3m when Parliament meets on Wednesday, May 27th, 2015.
The second meeting of the first session of the ninth Parliament begins at 10 am at the House of Assembly in Roseau.
At that meeting, the Hon. Finance Minister will also introduce a Bill for an Act to provide for the regulation of banking business, the establishment of a single banking space and for the incidental and related matters and the repeal of the Banking Act no. 16 of 2005.
Members of the Opposition will ask a number of questions including the status of work on the Rosalie to petite Soufriere link road, update on visas and work permits, road rehabilitation, development of water resources and housing.
The proceedings of the House will be broadcast live on radio and television from 10 am.
