His Excellency Daniel Saban, is the State of Israel’s new ambassador to Dominica.
He presented his credentials to H.E. the President, Charles Savarin on Wednesday, March 16th 2015.
Ambassador Saban said he looks forward to the strengthening of ties between the two countries.
H.E. President Savarin acknowledged that the collaboration between Dominica and the State of Israel has been good so far and hopes for continued success.
“Since our two countries established diplomatic relations in 1979, less than one year after our Independence, relations have been cordial. Israel has over the years developed cutting edge technology in a number of areas relevant to the development of Dominica. It is my wish that during Your Excellency’s term, Dominica will be afforded the opportunity to collaborate and benefit from your country’s expertise in the areas of renewable energy, security, agriculture aquaculture, hydroponics, food processing, manufacturing, health and education,” stated the President.
The country’s Head of State also looks forward to technical assistance from Israel in the field of geothermal energy.
He reaffirmed Dominica’s commitment to the support of the state of Israel.
